A few weeks ago we had the most amazing time shooting Lindsay and Mike’s wedding. This particular wedding was a very personal one to us. We have been friends with Mike for some time now and he has become one of our close friends. Let us be the ones to tell you, we haven’t seen Mike this happy in a very long time, maybe even ever. Lindsay is a wonderful person who we have also known for some time and together they make a gorgeous couple.
As photographers you feel so honored when documenting a wedding. Particularly because you get to see moments very few people get to enjoy the day of. Families open up their doors and welcome you into their homes. You see so many emotions, smiles, laughter and even tears. When you shoot a friend’s wedding all those emotions are completely full of meaning.
The ceremony took place at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Beaverton Oregon. There after they celebrated their marriage at Elephant’s Delicatessen with friends and family. The Corbett room was decorated with rustic tree slices, jars of pink fresh flowers, round tables with white linens, and potted succulents as spring wedding favors. Their wedding day was just so perfect! We really hope that we have done their wedding justice. Below are a few of our favorite images from their wedding. Please enjoy!
