Let us tell you, Evan and Lucy are a couple of simple and uncomplicated people in the best way. One of the qualities that attracted them to each other is their humility. It’s no secret that they both care dearly for the well being of others. Getting to know their families, you can see where they came from.

Evan proposed to Lucy at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. This will always be a special place for them. It’s so fun that they chose February 29 to get married!

Then came the wedding day. First things first. Coffee! We met up with them at Albina Press in Southeast Portland. We took some casual pictures there. Later, Evan and the groomsmen headed to a local barbershop for some quick trims. Lucy and her bridesmaids, her two sisters, were busy getting beautiful together at her family’s beautiful ranch home.

After a touching ceremony, Evan and Lucy, along with their immediate families, had a delicious intimate dinner at Park Avenue Fine Wines. Then they met with friends and the rest of the family for dessert and dancing at BodyVox in NW Portland. That dessert table was full of delicious, good looking sweets. During the first dances, they had a slideshow of precious pictures of their upbringing.

Then there was just one thing left to do, dance the night away. And that they did. We felt honored that Evan and Lucy entrusted us to be their photographers. We hope to have done their day justice. Please enjoy some of our favorite images from their wedding day.

My word! What an awesome couple in love with Jehovah and each other! It’s amazing how two different wonderful families can produce two beautiful individuals that themselves unite to become a new family and in the midst weave two previously established families closer and set a good example. Congratulations to all!!!! What a blessing!!!!
